Labrador Retriever Rescue Caithness and Scotland work voluntarily for the
Labrador Club of Scotland. The rescue is not funded in any way and relies
totally on constant fund raising and any donations gratefully received. All
monies are received are used entirely for the benefit of the Labradors.
We do not own kennels or offices and both work from home 7 days a week. We
do not sell or buy Labradors however if anyone wishes to make a donation then
its gratefully received as we constantly fund raise to pay for kennelling,
Vaccinations, etc.
It is less traumatic for a dog to be re homed from one home to
another however sometimes circumstances force us to kennel some dogs ( approved
by us ) if there is no fosterer available in the area. One of our goals is to
have a wider network of fosterers throughout the country.
We offer support and advice ( feeding, health, training etc ) to the new
owner of any of our adopted Labradors and keep in touch with them for the rest
of the dogs life. Any adopted Labrador is not allowed to be re homed by the new
owner if things don't work out - they must return the Labrador to us at
Rescue.
We rescue, re home and sometimes rehabilitate Labradors all over Scotland.
We have many professionals in the background who help us in our work - Vets, Vet Nurses and Canine Behaviourists.
